Strategy. Vision. Execution — Welcome to my world
James O. Gaygay is a purpose-driven emerging economist, public sector professional, a playwright and startup leader committed to empowering growth through digital strategy, personal finance, and human-centered development. With a passion for economic transformation rooted in data, policy, and entrepreneurship, he brings a unique blend of insight and action to every initiative he pursues. He currently serves as a Research and Data Analyst at the National Investment Commission (NIC) of Liberia, where he contributes to Liberia’s efforts to attract and facilitate impactful investment.
He is the Founder and CEO of GoDigital, a digital marketing and digital product development company based in Liberia. GoDigital was created out of a desire to bridge the digital divide and equip African entrepreneurs and organizations with the tools they need to thrive in the digital economy, creating visibility and increasing revenue. The company’s work spans brand development, digital strategy, digital marketing campaigns, and the creation of digital products that help clients scale their visibility and impact.
He is also the Co-owner and Chief Financial Officer at Patience Cocoa, a proudly Liberian chocolate company that adds value to locally sourced cocoa. Patience Cocoa is more than a business to James; it’s a movement to show that Liberian products can meet global standards while supporting grassroots development in farming and other agriculture activities. In all his endeavors, he remains guided by a core belief in possibility — that with the right strategies, partnerships, and commitment, Liberia can unlock the full potential of its people and resources.
He has written and published several pieces of poems. Two of his biggest books projects include “Making Money Made Easy” a book on personal finance and development and “Traditions and Fate” a play that explores the Liberian tradition and cultural values. When these books are completed and published, do not forget to get yourself one copy of each.
